Will this operate with a 4G android phone? null

The 4G does not matter. It will work on any android phone that you can download the DJI fly app on. Having internet access is not needed except during flight pre to check for updates to the drone, controller and battery. If that is all updated, the controller and drone use occusync to communicate, not 4G or 5G or any G.

Read that the cellphone has to have Android 6.0 as a minimum. Kept trying to load DJI Fly on my old S3s and S4 so I could dedicate one of them for use with the drone controller but DJI Fly never would even come up as an option. Operating system on them being less than 6.0 was the problem. Got it to work on my S7 because it did have a newer operating system.

what they neglect to tell is that you most likely will need special cell phone... Just because you have a 5 G Android Does NOT mean you can operate the DJI Mini 2 drone. DJI is VERY particular on what models of cell phones that can be used... I found out the hard way. $$$. Imagine having to buy a $600.00 second cell phone just operate the drone??

Yes you can but depending if you can download the apps to your phone

All you need is a phone that can download the DJI Fly app. It is a great app and you can also do your video editing along with all of the settings thru the app.
