Rang easly way beyond line of site.

Video is not on the controller but you don't have to use a phone there other ways

In open areas I have gotten 2 1/2 miles easy. Out in heavy tree areas I can get a little over a mile. Yes you have to use a phone with the controller to fly and video.

Your smartphone is needed for telemetry from the drone. Range is advertised by DJI at approximately 7 miles, but FAA rules say you will fly it in line of sight. Which means if you can see it you are legal.

Range is pretty far, depending on where you fly you may get 4 to 5 miles. You need a phone as you need to download the fly app. You can see what the camera sees through the phone. It’s a great drone, easy to travel with, easy to fly and it has great features for the price, get it with the fly more combo.

I haven’t tested the full range but I have flown a mile away with no problems. You will need a phone because the only way to control the drone and see through the camera is by downloading the DJI app.

Per Dji claims the range is 10km but depending where your flying your drone. City most like less. But I fly light of sight. Your phone is your monitor video link

The range is going to depend on factors like nearby objects material (i lose signal bad when near a watertower) height and the weather

I'm in a suburban developement and I can go out maybe a mile or so before I drop a bar and return home (not chancing losing my drone)
In theory on a no wind sunny day in a desert it should go around 6 miles based on marketing material but real world will vary. Im happy with results and the purchase. I hope this helps

The drone has a 10km range and 31 min flight time. You do not need a phone to my knowledge but you wont be able to use the intelligent flight modes. I recommend using a phone so you can see where you drone is heading, as for you should always keep it within your line of sight.

It has 10 kilometers range, yes you can fly with just the remote but you won't have satellite connection. You need a phone for video feed the remote doesn't have a screen
