It still charges the android phones while its connected. But to me thats a good thing. It'd be a disaster if the phone lost battery

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That seems to be an issue with android OS. But the big difference is this remote control is much larger, with larger batteries, longer run time. I would say you could do 6-10 battery swaps in the drone before needing to recharge. Some Android devices will not work, you need 64 bit hardware & OS, check their website/Forum for compatability!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You are able to toggle the charging of your mobile device in the settings page of the app, therefore preventing this issue. I am a new user and the mini 2 is my first drone, but that is what I have found with its use the past couple weeks.
