“One review I read somewhere(?) said that there are a few geographic locations in the US in which the Mini 2 won't fly for some reason. This review also said that the Mini 2 will never fly inside a house. Any truth to this??”

I can confirm it does fly indoors. If the light is to dim it won’t take off for safety reasons

You may check more details via our official website. Besides, we do not recommend you to perform a flight indoors unless in special circumstances or necessary conditions. Not sure why someone is saying that unless they live in a no fly zone. Download the be4ufly app that will tell you locations safe to fly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t know anything about the geographic location u talking about but I fly my DJI both indoors and outside. Sometimes when is dark indoors u might see a warning sign that comes up. U can bypass that by flashing a light at the gimbal and you can take off
