Just be careful and don't fly over anyone. This is in the FAA rules. Per FAA "Never fly over any person or moving vehicle." Also load FAA app B4UFLY from playstore or app store which will give u restricted airspace.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That depends on where you're flying it. The app includes lockouts to keep you from flying in restricted areas to keep you in compliance with the law, but there are areas that you can fly in but only up to a limited altitude (max is usually 400' in the US, but if you're near an airport it can be as low as 100'). The FAA has an app called "B4UFly" that will allow you to check the airspace you're in (or plan to be in) prior to launching. AirMap is also an excellent app, better if you're a more serious drone flyer than the B4UFly app. But if you are in a restricted area, the DJI sofrware will warn you & will not allow the aircraft to take off. If you enter a restricted area, it will land immediately, which is a bigger problem. So use another app to check the area you want to fly in before heading that way. There are a lot of restrictions you have to be aware of, and an app is the only thing that will help you figure those out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Always check your local laws as each state is different as to where you can and cannot fly. The overall authority for airspace is the FAA. But, certain states have areas that are no-fly zones, i.e. state parks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Dear customers, Thanks for your inquiry. You are advised to check the local rules. Best regards, DJI Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Each state has different requirements. Get the b4 you fly app. DJI has restrictions built in called geo fencing which will restrict you to fly in certain areas I see that the new law with the Mini2 does allow you to fly over people. Always check out the latest FAA rules and restrictions.
