“I had a new Cox Cable box installed yesterday and now the Soundbar sound (using optical cable provided with Samsung TV ) is garbled. The sound from the TV itself is fine. Would replacing the digital optical audio cable potentially solve the problem?”

I haven’t had issues with optical cables. I had a Bose system that need a optical cable. I bought the Dynex as it is a perfectly fine cable and it works just as good as the overpriced cables. I have an HDMI cable on my Cox receiver so cant tell you for sure. I’d try a new inexpensive Dynex cable and see if it works
