This little cable saved me from having to replace my Sony stereo receiver. I am currently using an older but good Sony DVR player with 5.1 RCA outputs & it is going to the 5.1 RCA inputs on my receiver but the inputs on the receiver have had some kind of short causing my front speaker's sound to cut out. I would have to jiggle the wires to get the sound to come back. I decided to try this optical cable, thinking, how could 5.1 sound go through a single cable. All I can say is "Unbelievable!" I am using Polk Audio 5.1 speakers...they're little ones & they have always sounded a bit mid-rangy & tinny for my taste. After using this optical cable, the sound has greatly improved. The sound seems to be more even, richer, and warmer sounding. If you're using RCA cables, ditch them and buy this!

I purchased the digital audio cable to connect my new smart TV to a Klipsch sound bar. I only needed a short cable since the sound bar is located right below the TV. I heard it was important to purchase a quality cable to insure good sound. This cable worked perfectly and I do not notice any sound distortion. I found cables selling at two or three times the price but decided to give this one a try. I highly recommend this one for both price and quality.

I was using a non digital audio cable with a high end samsung speaker and subwoofer. What was I thinking? So much better, so much clearer, so much more range! If you buy an external speaker to hook to your TV and your TV allows a "digital out" for the sound then this is a MUST! The fiber optics mean no loss of sound or signal to wires. Big big improvement.

This was only $4 on a daily deal and I couldn't be happier. this was the only cable that would connect my LG tv and insignia sound bar. After spending all that money on the tv and sound bar, I wasn't thrilled I had to spend even more money to be able to connect the two. thankfully this deal presented itself and now my setup works!

They do the JOB! No fuss, plug right in and go. I went thru 2 other sets and the actual plug was too fat to fit in the optical ports. The new "skinny" TV's have such a tight fit for all the inputs, it's a pain to plug in! I have 2 ROKU TV's LED no 4K, no 3D etc. So maybe high end optical plugs make a difference on the $1000 TV's.

Cheap and exactly what I wanted! Got this for my insignia mini sound bar as it did not come with an optical cord was happy that Best Buy offered a short and cheap cord so that I could connect my ps4 pro to this as my monitor does not have built in sound. I am very satisfied

I purchased this cable to use with an Insignia Sound Bar to our Samsung TV. Hookup was a snap and using this cable with the sound bar solved all of our tv volume problems. Actually purchased another to go with the second Insignia sound bar we bought. Works very good and doesn't cost a fortune.

Price point was a seller, I think we received what we paid. The cord was spooled into a bag when received. Coils relaxed right away allowing immediate install. End plug covers, tethered to cord, ensure damage free storage. Appears not made for constant movements.

purchased this optical cable to connect my reciever to my cable box. The cable work just fine as I expected. No complains at all I highly recommend this cable. You cant beat that price. I just wish they have this available for in-store purchase but instead I had to wait a few days before I picked it up in the store.

I bought two and so far I've had them for more than a month and they're doing the job, why spend more when you can get these for cheap and are reliable.

As far as I know, an optical cable is an optical cable. I passes a signal of light through it for your digital audio. Why spend lots of money on an expensive one. This one was only a few dollars and in my opinion the sounds signal is as good as an expensive one.

Bought two of these to connect my TV and DVD player to my sound system and they are both working perfectly. I am not sure why anyone would pay $50 to $80 for a 4' optical cable. For such a short length any cable will produce the exact same result.

This is a standard optical cable and it works just great! It is considerably less expensive than the others. I have mine hooked into my sound bar and I think it sounds good. If there's any difference from my other optical cable I don't notice it.

I purchased a sound bar and tried to hook it up with the cords that came with it but I wasn't getting any sound. So I looked on YouTube to see what other people did,so I purchased this cord and immediately I got great sound. Works perfectly.

I purchased these to hook up a soundbar to our Vizio wall mount TV because the soundbar reviews mentioned using an optical audio cable to get the best sound. Very inexpensive cable and the sound quality is excellent from the soundbar.

I couldn't believe how this five dollar cable was much much better than a twenty dollar cable that was under performing. When I hooked this five dollar cable the sound was much better and I had to turn the volume down. I'm impressed with this cable.

Use these for my HDTV’s Insignia sound system speakers to bypass any electrical or grounding issues with the standard 1/8” cable plug port. They work like a charm with very clear audio delivered.

This cable was just the right size to patch from our LG TV to the sound bar. Very inexpensive and a quality option to the much more expensive monster brand. Very pleased with this purchase.

This cable works great to connect my Insignia TV to the Insignia Soundbar. The cable was a reasonable price compared to some cables I've found. I didn't need a really long cord so 4 feet was plenty of length.
