• both ends are exactly the same and should be on your sound bar, if not you need to return and get a another one.

• Both ends are the same. It's a straight through patch cable with 2 male ends.

• Hello! Each end of the cable is roughly square, notched on two sides (sort of like a roof) with slight protrusions on either side. These plug into an (often covered) port labeled SP/DIF. If your soundbar accepts optic cables, that is!

• the optical cord ends are identical. the optical ports, on ALL electronics, are also....identical. sometimes they are hard to find...refer to diagrams in your owners manual. i am 100% sure i was able to answer your question correctly.
