“I have twice ordered optical audio cables and when recieved they do not fit my Sony and Sharp equipment. The ones I keep getting have small yellow ends instead of the small black optical ends. The yellow ones almost fit but are too tight to connect.”

This will be perfect! I went thru 3 sets from Amazon (same problem) all returned. I saw this ai BB and noticed how small the connecting plugs were. Purchased plugged in to my new Sharp and BINGO!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello. I have used the Dynex optical digital cable with the black ends on my Sony tv and A/V receiver with no problems. The connection worked fine. I have not used any with the yellow ends. But might I suggest getting the 6' length instead of 4'. I found that is always better to have a little extra length than to come up short.

I purchased the 4' optical cable as a recommendation from Insigina when I could not get their sound bar to work. My TV had an optical cable connection for 'audio out' which was required by Insignia in order for their sound bar to work. Once installed in the correct direction the sound bar works great and I have had no trouble with them. So the 4' optical cable with black ends work great for my situation and is connected from my Toshiba TV to the sound bar.
