Yes, the filtration system is outstanding.

Of course, it uses two washable filters.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Ball Animal 3 does have filters; one inside of the ball shell and one inside of the cyclone. Filters need to be washed every three months or so. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
