I didnt buy the extended warranty because the manual states that it comes with a 5 year warranty.

Hi Sandra. Thank you for your question about the Dyson Ball Multi-Floor warranty. When purchased new and from an authorized seller, it will include a 5 year limited warranty which starts from the date of purchase. Best Wishes, Krystal Dyson Customer Service
