“How does the V10 Motorhead do with plush carpet? Not shag but thicker plush. I purchased the Ball Animal 2 and you couldn't even move it on the carpet.”

It works great on plush and tile.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Steve, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Ball Animal 2 features 270 air watts of suction power, making that our most powerful upright. I generally would not recommend that upright model in homes with thicker or more plush carpeting like you have. With our cordless models, such as the Dyson V10 Motorhead, that model will still give you powerful suction power at 150 air watts, with a direct-drive cleaner head. You may find that you need to run your machine in MAX power mode to push it across your carpeting. You may wish to consider the Animal or Absolute models, which rather than the direct drive head - have a torque drive head. This cleaner head features a suction slider which may perform better for you.
