Any of our stick vacuums, including the Dyson Cyclone V10 are ideal for using on your floors - including your stairway. All of the cordless models have the wand, which allows you to use them like a full size upright vacuum cleaner. The wand can also be removed and you can attach any of the tools or attachments directly to the clear bin as well, for use as a handheld. I hope this was helpful.
