QuestionWhat impurities are measured by the Dyson Pure Hot + Cool? When it reports the AQI, is it just getting information from the internet for the general area or is it reporting the actual indoor air quality within our home?

- Answer Hello BLS, This is Miella from Dyson The HP01 Pure Hot+Cool can capture up to 99.9% of VOCs, gases, bacteria, allergens, and more as small as 0.3 microns. QuestionHow would I know that the filter needs to be replaced? My dyson fan shows two batterylike flashing red lights. What does it mean?

- Answer Hello Helka, this is Kelly with Dyson. Cost can certainly vary according to the standard unit price of electricity by market. That said, however, while experiences will vary and I'm not certain which model you have specifically, I can confirm Dyson heater fans use up to 1500 watts when used in the heating mode. - Answer Hello Lisa, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Hot + Cool™ purifier fan removes a range of contaminants from the air. It purifies to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns from the home. It also removes pollen, pet dander and odors such as cigarette smoke and cooking smells. It will also remove VOC's. The effectiveness of the purifier can vary, depending on both outdoor and indoor air quality, and the size of the space you're trying to purify the air in. - Answer Hi Wes, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Hot + Cool, when used in heater mode, uses 1500 watts. Most modern residential circuit breakers have a max load of either 1800 or 2400 watts. QuestionMy remote does not work , how do I operate the heater manually

- Answer After turning it on, hold down the power button. By doing that i was able to raise the temperature. To lower the temperature I shut off the machine and turned it back on. I repeated the same step. Held the button and it automatically switched to lowering the temperature. Hope this helps.

QuestionI have the HP01. I'm reading about auto where the air quality is detected and runs when needed but not seeing that on my model. Does the HP01 have that? If not, am I to just let it run ask the time to filter the air?

- Answer Hello Derek, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson HP01 Pure Hot + Cool does not have an auto mode. This mode is only available on our connected models. In order to benefit from purification, the machine does need to be turned on, either in hot or cool mode. Even at the lowest airflow setting of 1, your machine will be drawing in air from the bottom of the machine, and purifying that through the filter. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
