Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This question is not really about the "Humdinger", a great small and lightweight unit useful for the car. Dyson does not list any DC to DC chargers that would charge the vacuum from a 12 volt power port (cigarette lighter socket). One way around that is to buy a small (300 watt or less) pure sine wave invertor for the car, gives you clean 110 volt AC from the 12 volt car outlet. Bestek and E-POALR are brands that can do the job for many items using the original AC chargers and are small invertors. One caution: choose a Pure Sine Wave invertor rather than a modified sine wave. Most chargers and other AC devices can be damaged by modified sine wave output. I have used the Bestek 300Watt pure sine wave invertor from battery (12 volt) sources to run/charge AC devices (under 300 watts) with great success and very reasonably priced.
