Hello there Sara, This is Miella from Dyson. Dyson machines are made for use in the country they are sold in, machines manufactured for the United States are designed for 110-120v electricity. Our machines are not multi-voltage and we do not recommend using a converter with any of our products, as this will cause power issues and void the warranty. Each country has its own rules and regulations and we are unable to guarantee that a machine used outside of the country it is sold in meets all of the requirements of the country it is brought to, so we do not recommend traveling with our machines.
