- Answer I bought a dyson dryer 18 months ago. After 6 months it just kept cutting out, like you have described. Dyson replaced it, now 11 months on this one is now doing the same. The dryer is unusable. We can’t be the only ones

Dyson machines are designed to work on the correct voltage per the country in which they are sold in. The Dyson Supersonic purchased from an authorized US retailer will have 110-120 voltage. QuestionAnyone of you has successfully used a volatage converter (step down) with this blowdryer? If yes, which converter did you use? It blows my mind that it is advertised as good for traveling, yet, is not dual voltage. Thanks!

- Answer The main problem that you will have is to find a converter/transformer that can mach the 1600w that you need.the most common ones don't go over 500w. I had the same problem and as much as I was disappointed the hassle of carrying the correct transformer and the space+weight is not the best travel addition. You can buy one over there for almost the same $$ or € that is if you travel constantly and is a must have ...

- Answer Bought this for my mom. She went over her already dry hair with this and it made her hair so smooth it looked like she just came home from the salon. And it is not as loud as other dryers.

- Answer YES! They all fit. It takes will and the desire to store everything in a beautiful case after paying a beautiful amount of money for it. Took some space analysis that challenged my brain cells but it worked! All three attachments fit INCLUDING THE DIFFUSER. It also closes nicely. Just take out all the other fillers inside even the nice velvety separator that acts as a cradle for the hair dryer itself et voila!

- Answer Many of the items for sale on Amazon are from 3rd party sellers / resellers who can name their price. Doesnt make much sense now but they capitalize on limited quantities during holiday season and apparently never adjusted their prices afterwards

QuestionDyson states that the Dyson Supersonic is designed to be used in the country of origin, my Dyson was bought in the UK, so if I am travelling to a country which also has 240 voltage (Australia), is there any reason why I cannot use it there?

- Answer I'm from the U.S. and currently live in Korea which has 220V power. We use step down transformers to run our 120V appliances without any issues. A high wattage appliance like a hair dryer is probably going to want a transformer with 2.5 to 3 KVA capacity
