• A:Answer Not whisper but it’s supposed to be quieter. 75 decibels was recorded by a YouTube reviewer. If you can’t test in store I recommend watching a video review to get an idea of the sound.

Q: QuestionHair stylist here. when this first came out there was a large disclaimer reading "wash hands after use, product is made with materials that cause cancer" and as someone who will be handling it all day I was a little skeptical. Is this still on the box?

• A:Answer Hello Krissy, This is Miella from Dyson. Prior to 2019, Dyson made the decision to redesign our machines so that a Prop 65 label is no longer needed. Therefore, all Dyson products produced in 2019 and later do not require the prop 65 label. To provide you with additional confidence in our products, in 2018 Dyson developed a new comprehensive Prop65 assessment program in collaboration with 3rd Party laboratories. The assessment included full product evaluation & testing on high risk parts/materials and a toxicological risk assessment process by US board-certified toxicologists to evaluate the chemicals identified in our finished product. Only after passing the assessment, are the products made available for sale. We hope this puts your mind at ease and removes any reservations about the use of our machines. Hope this helps! Q: QuestionI don't wash my hair every day. How do I maintain the curls the days after hair washing day? Do I spray my hair with water and use the dryer on dirty, wet hair? Do I revert to a curling iron in between hair washing days?

• A:Answer Well I wouldn’t say your hair is exactly dirty. You are keeping it this way to help replenish its natural oils. So you can have a softer healthier curl. I’m not sure if this is for everyone but I often wash my hair regardless because I find that the next day even when I spritz it with water my curls don’t curl the way I exactly want them to so I generally just wash the hair all over again and put in a leave in conditioner. The next day I can give a little spritz and work the curls through with my fingers and sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn’t sometimes you may need to comb your curls through or wet them more and possibly use the dryer again.
