Yes the UK and AU use the exact same power standards, you only need a plug converter. A good quality UK to AU plug would be best as the Hairdryer uses a lot of power. So make sure it is a good quality adapter so it don’t melt. Same applies to Europe however they use 230 not 240 like the UK and AU. While the standard was changed a while ago only the label was changed. Meter tests have shown that the UK still uses 240. But 230 is not really that much less compared to 120 in the US where the system should really have been upgraded decades ago.

Dyson machines, including our Supersonic hair dryer, are only intended for use in the country in which they were purchased; our machines are not dual voltage. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed. However, we do not recommend using a converter, as the unit will not perform at the normal expected life of a Dyson product. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
