Hi Annie, this is Krystal with Dyson. The Dyson Supersonic along with all of the Dyson corded machines are not multi-voltage. They are built for use in the country of purchase. Using a power adapter is not recommended as it can damage the machine. Best Wishes, Krystal Dyson Customer Support
