“I got my Dyson Airwrap in Bangkok and I use it in Malaysia. I clean the filter weekly but the device still stops working regularly, the worst part is sometimes when it stops working I will just leave it for awhile and now totally can’t on. Pls advice.”

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson products are designed specifically for the countries in which they are made for and sold in. For example, machines manufactured for the United States are designed solely for 110-120v electricity. It is because of this fact that we are unable to have the machine converted to meet the specific country electrical code and laws. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed. However, we do not recommend using a converter, as the unit will not perform at the normal expected life of a Dyson product. Please be aware that use of your machine outside of the country which it was purchased may void your warranty. Please try again later.I understand that the voltage and frequency for the two countries (Thailand and Indonesia) are the same (230 VAC, 50 Hz), Assuming you bought one rated for that voltage/frequency, there must be a problem with the hair dryer. I would suggest you contact the seller (or Dyson directly) if it is still under warranty. If you bought one rated for different voltage/frequency, then you may have burned out the motor windings and/or heating element. That would not likely be covered by warranty.
