Hi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for your interest in the Dyson Supersonic. Dyson machines are intended for use in the country in which they are purchased in and are not multi-voltage. Therefore, a converter would be needed, however, not recommended as it can damage the machine. Beste Wishes, Krystal Dyson Customer Service
