Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.12-15 mins with the power head on it, 16 mins I think without. If you use turbo mode, which is a great thing, it goes to like 5 minutes. So, turbo is a luxury to be used sparingly. There is a newer version, called the V8, and those have the longer battery life. They are of course, alot more expensive.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Sol, This is Carissa with Dyson. Our Dyson V6 Animal is not as new as the V8 Absolute. Dyson V6 features two modes of suction. A Max mode as well or a powerful suction mode. All of our cordless units do come switched on to Max mode out of the box. The V6 should run between 18-20 minutes in regular mode and 6 minutes in max mode. Additionally, our V8 Absolute features a similar Max mode. Our V8 Absolute will run up to 40 minutes in regular mode and 7 minutes in Max mode.
