There really isn't much of a difference between all of Dysons cordless vacuums. Check running time(major difference) and accessories(mostly useless fillers in order to charge more). The more expensive ones probably have a longer running time after every charge(v6 animal has 20 minutes, v6 absolute or v8 has 40 minute running time).
