Hi, I have the v7 dyson and honestly i don’t recommend this vacuum for you. Although the max setting is strong enough to pick up dog hair and sand. The vacuum only last 6 minutes on Max, 30 minutes in regular. I feel that is not enough time to clean for you especially when charging takes 5 hours.

While the V7 Advanced Origin can pick up small particles, with sand you need to take care to ensure that the machine is being maintained and cleaned well; sand can easily clog the cyclone and filter which would greatly affect suction and run time on our cord-free units.
