The batter has lost polarity It is possible to re flash te batter but best left to a professional. Also batteries are available from aftermarket companies. They are known to be much less expensive and good quality

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It may have to do with the battery. I used my Dyson v7 as a backup to my main vacuum and liked it very much, but the battery failed just a month after the 2-year warranty expired. Dyson advised buying a new replacement battery for ~$100 but that comes with a 1-year warranty so I’m thinking why bother. Disappointing.
