• Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. You can use the Dyson V7 Motorhead cord-free on hardwood flooring. If you have a softer wood, or flooring that may be susceptible to scratching, you may prefer our Absolute model, which comes with a 2nd floor tool - the soft roller.
