Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.So you say “lock” so I assume you mean set it and forget it? I set it to one temp and it stays or you can program differently. I recently set mine to auto with a temp for AC and a Temp for Heat. Also you can set modes with ranges as well so when i am at work M-F its not wasting my money!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can set a system code to control the thermostat. You can also set a temp range. I am not sure if you would need the code to just adjust the temp within that preset range though. Wouldn’t it be easier to just have the tenant pay the heating bill? Would you want your spouse or parents (or even kids) locking your thermostat? If I had to live in an apartment, I don’t know if I’d want my landlord controlling my heat or air. If money is that tight, sell your rental. :)
