Is this thermostat able to connect to a dual broad band router? Had some issues with other brands not wanting to connect. null

I have a Netgear dual band router/cable modem and there was no issue. I have an Ecobee 4 and the Ecobbe 3 lite connected to it.

Yes, it connected easily and quickly. One thing to consider if your router allows, is to have the Thermostat (and any other connected device) connect to the internet via a separate ‘guest’ network. These are offered by many routers to allow connectivity to the internet without the ability to connect to your personal devices like your computers and any network attached storage you may have.

Yes, my Ecobee Lite 3 connected very quickly to my dual band router. I had to return an Sensi as it would not connect to this but this one no issues.

Yes. I have this connected to a Netgear dualband router/cable modem. I also ahve a second Ecobee (the 4) connected to the wifi as well.
