Basically. There are only options for 2 saved maps with the multi floor function. If you put it in an area it doesn't recognize it may try to overwrite one of your other maps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not sure if moving the vac to a third area that was previously unmapped will overwrite one of the previous maps, but I doubt it. Unless the extra odd rooms are located in such a way that you would have to manually relocate the vac to them for cleaning, i.e. there is a baby gate, stairs, or the room is in another building or something, my suggestion would be to open the house up wide and avoid restricting access to any part of that level of the house when the initial mapping is performed, then use the app to define and label the boundaries for each room. If you have already mapped the floors where the odd extra rooms are located, you can delete them and start over or just provide the vac access to those rooms and it will add them to the existing map as long as locating is successful when it first starts cleaning. Once you have the rooms in question mapped, you can then use the app to target clean specific rooms, or turn entire rooms off for scheduled cleaning. That way you can control when the vac cleans those odd extra rooms. You can even use voice assistants like Alexa to tell the vac to go clean one room only. Hopefully that answers you question.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will create a new map for any room that doesn't connect to your other maps
