A:AnswerOnly the base station has ethernet ports; 1 port (as you likely know) to connect to you existing router (to broadcast WiFi) the other port, you can connect to a ethernet device. As you also likely know now, the 2 satellite units have no ethernet ports. However, you can (as I did) purchase another base station (giving you 4 in total units), connect it as a satellite (to your original base station), then it's two ports give you ethernet, at it's location (less expensive than paying someone to pull an ethernet cable). I believe the previous model had ethernet ports on all 3.
A:AnswerIt likely would. You just need to be sure that the points are not too far apart from each other or the mesh network won't work well. But WiFi can normally penetrate standard brick walls, especially if there's a point nearby.
