This system uses a dedicated 5 gigabit per second wireless link between the base unit and the remote units (different than the 5G WiFi band). So no Ethernet cable is required between your base unit and the remote units.

You do not need an ethernet plug for each router. You just need one ethernet to plug into the main router. The other two routers will plug into the electrical outlets and function as wifi extenders.
