Yes you can. All eero would work with all other types of eero and can wirelessly connect to the head one and broadcast the same network. We would recommend keeping to the same model in this case to make sure you get the maximum possible performance. In general we like to see at least 30 to 50 feet between eero and don't want them closer, but that will vary based on local wireless environment
