The eero Pro 7 Tri-band Mesh Wi-Fi System is designed to work with your eero Dual-band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System as it is backwards compatible. For example, if you add one or more eero 7 tri-bands to your dual-band wi-fi 5 3-pack, the least capable device is dual-band (not tri-band) and wi-fi 5 (not wi-fi 7). You will have a dual-band wif-fi 5 mesh system (same as if you had added another dual-band wif-fi 5 eero. You have, at least for the moment, wasted a lot of money.
