• The cable it should come with is USB-C, if you can get a cable that converts USB-C to Lightning, then yes, you can use this power bank

• Yes, it works with older iPhones using a cable. The included USB-C cable is fine for the power bank, but for iPhones with Lightning ports, use your own Lightning cable.
