Actually, most inks have a date on them. But in the event that you cant locate one, the ink is usually good for 3-5 years, if kept in the foil wrap.

I've only had issues with printers with the print heads if I don't use the printer for a while. Then it eats the ink when charging. 252 cartridges

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes they will dry up eventually but okay at least to a year. Keep in cool place(not cold or hot). My printer and extra ink were in storage, Ink was pretty tacky not usable in 2 years unopened.
