The best printer ink on the market

Epson's 252 4 pack ink cartridges uses the DURABrite Ultra ink which is a special "pigmented ink"... and not the usual printer ink dyes that other manufactures use in their printers. This ink is what commercial printers use in their ink layouts... only these inks are specially made for Epson printers, and are superior to any standard printer inks. These pigmented inks, dries almost instantly as the printed paper comes out of the printer. Colors are sharp and clear and will not smear even when using special photo paper... and according to Epson, the dried ink will also shed water. I've been very impressed with Epson and their special DURABrite Ultra inks and their printers... and the prices for their cartridges are very affordable vs the standard printer ink cartridges... and they seem to last much longer too!

I have owned the Epson WF-3640 for 6 months. After two bad starts, due to printer failures (rectified by Epson sending me a brand new one) I have had absolutely no problems. This printer is easy on ink, beautiful print quality, bright vivid colors. Very fast printing. The ink cost is high but no more so than any other ink jet. Ink is the profit for all makes. This printer has been quite efficient on ink. It has many features, all work to perfection for me. I recently bought a second one for a different computer system with perfect operation right out of the box. I have owned Dell, HP and Lexmark printers. This Epson beats them all in excellence of print quality, ink usage and features.

I’m in in nursing school and I print a LOT. With that being said I knew I would need a great printer with grade ink. Using this ink I only have to replace my cartridges 1 x a semester and I print all my lectures in color. I had to give it a 4 because for some reason this time the blue ink completely ran out while all the other ink levels were still full. I didn’t print anything with a lot of blue or that would require a lot of blue ink but for some reason this one replacement cartridge is gone. Other than that, it’s great ink. I get great color in my slides and that’s important for my lectures as they show a lot of anatomy or slides where color is critical.

I was running very low on ink and had to pick some up, fast! This would be my first purchase of Epson ink for an Epson printer (I have been a HP ma for over 20 years). Having the ink installed individually via color I think expands the life of each ink cartridge. No hassle in taking the tape off the cartridges (the different HP ink cartridges that I have purchased you had to be careful not to tear the tape in half when pulling it off), and easy to install. I would defiantly recommend an Epson printer to my friends; part of the reason is there no hassle installation of ink cartridges.

    Ink for your Printer

I was told that the Epson printers were easy on ink, and I was getting burned out on HP printers. Well, these Epson carts do not work any better, possibly worse. I don't know whether to blame the printer or the ink technology. Printer says I have plenty of ink, but won't print. Clean the heads, nothing. New cartridges work for a while, and again fail before the printer acknowledges they're out of ink. Buy 2-3 cycles of replacement, and you've outspent what you paid for your printer. Maybe it's time for a laserjet.

I recently bought a new printer because I've returned to college. My previous printer, an HP printer, has always been a piece of junk & never worked correctly. So, after doing some research, I decided to go with an Epson printer. I really love my new printer. Easy to set up & I love that the cartridges are separate for each color of ink. This ensures that I get the most use out of each color. They are also easy to install. I'm not sure yet how much printing I will get out of these cartridges, so we'll see about that.

I have purchased only Epson printers and have been happy with all of them. With my last printer I did use “no name” brand inks. That was a mistake. I printed the same photo; one with Epson inks and one with “no name”. The “no name” noticeably faded within months the Epson ink photo is still a vibrantly colorful photo several years later. The inks maybe a bit expensive, as other brand names can be, but the outcome is worth the price. If you are going to print photos that you want to keep, use Epson inks and papers..

I regularly purchase this for my Epson printer and it works decently. My main grip is with Best Buy. First they took away the special 15% discount on ink for Rewards members. Then they enacted a policy of only allowing 1 credit to be used on a trade-in (I brought in several old cartridges, got credits, but I could only use 1), and overall base price of the product has gone up. The Best Buy cashier felt my pain and kindly looked up another online site to at least give me a price match.

printers are cheap but ink is expensive all over the LAND. That's pretty much anywhere you go. Quality is pretty descent considering that the printer purchased was slightly over $100.00 No smears when printing and the printer also doesn't use ink when cleaning the printer unlike other printers. At lease that is what I have noticed. Your experience may be difference. Please read up on the use of ink when printers clean themselves. It make a big difference at the end of the day.

Tried to use it with My EPSON workforce 3620 printer and it did not turn out great. Usually takes a few Printer Head Alignment runs to get the brand new ink to work. But this time, it didn't work. Despite multiple attempts, the print quality was all blurry and by the time I tried printer head alignment for the 10 time, the ink was all finished. Only saving grace is that EPSON decided to replace my printer with a refurbished one.

The initial ink cartridges that came with the printer lasted almost a year due to minimal use. My main concern was that the ink would dry up just like from the ink cartridges with my previous Lexmark printer. However to my pleasant surprise I was still able to print to the very last ink level. What's awesome is that I only need to replace specific ink color cartridges as opposed to an entire color cartridge. As of now I would highly recommend this ink cartridge for the Epson printer.

The package for this product is easily recognizable as it looks like other ink products packaging. Once home I eagerly opened the box and replaced my ink with speed. It was clear that the designers put effort into reducing the drag coefficient to allow for maximum speed. The ink was of average quality and dry time was reasonable. No smudges or leaking was noted. The capacity does leave something to be desired. These things do not last long.

Love the Epson 252 pack Ink cartridge. Its small and compact my only problem is that it does not last as long as the bigger Ink cartridges I was use to . I have had to change the ink 3 times since my purchase. which is really quick about 70 to 100 sheets before you start getting the black ink is low warning. They need a 252 Ink Pack which last longer. This has caused me to print less. Love the Epson Printer though very easy to operate.

Ink was easy to install when following directions

The ink cartridges are a tiny bit tricky to install in the printer. But once following directions, things went smoothly. One thing to note, putting printer into draft mode for print outs, text is clearly grey, not black. I also have an HP printer, and its draft mode still prints black letters, just a bit less sharp. I prefer the HP approach to "draft" than Epson's. I will keep this in mind when shopping for my next printer.

This is the second set of cartridges that I have purchased and both times there has been a problem with the color. The recommendation to clean the heads improved the quality, but it takes so much ink to clean the heads that you have to purchase another cartridge. Not good. It should work with good color out of the box

Epson and its line of inks hasn't done me wrong yet. The printing quality is divine, no lines or toner issues. It also prints much better on Epson paper. My only problem is the short lifespan of the ink. I print a lot, several dozen pages a week, and the ink seems to run out short of two months. Even the XL was a bit of a disappointment. Oh, well. The price we pay for quality.

I needed to replace the ink in my parents printer. It was not that obvious how to do this, and i am tech savvy. Once installed there were no problems. The only thing I noticed is that printing in draft mode, black text comes out dark gray. On my hp printer, draft mode printing, black is still printed black. I had an epson printer 25 years ago that did the same thing, so I guess that is typical epson...

Better Off Getting 252 pk With The Black Ink In XL

If you are like me, you print using more of the black ink rather than colored. I would suggest spending a little more and purchasing the Epson 252 4-pack with the black ink being XL in it. It has more than twice the yield (the 252XL black ink cartridge) so you will save more in the long run. We have an Epson printer that constantly sends us messages to change the ink cartridges. Once replaced we can only print one or two pages before we receive the message again! Never had this problem with our old Hewlett-Packard printer! We will not be buying another Epson ever!
