• They are on the front. The "windows" that you see in the picture actually let you see the levels as they drop. I will tell you, we have printed almost 3000 black and white pages and the black level is still at 3/4. Have been very impressed with just how efficient this printer is. The quality is very good. We have bought 3 more of these for our office.
