“My wireless router is a 5.0 GHz. I have been told that the Eco tnks only handle 2.4 GHz. Is this true? We have two computers sharing one printer wirelessly.”

Check your router settings. You may have configured it in a way that your 2.4ghz is not active nor broadcasting. Majority of printers and even computers connects with 2.4 ghz and not 5ghz. A lot of mobile devices can connect to 5 ghz. But even if your device is connected to 5 and your printer to 2.4. As long as your both connected to only one router then they should still be able to communicate.
