• Yes it prints legal, no you can't fax and you can use USB

• Yes, no and yes. It can print on 8.5 X 14 size paper. It does not have a fax function, just print, copy and scan. There is a provision for installing via USB cable. When installing the printer myself I tried wireless first and succeeded first try and ended up taking the cable back.
