Any computer can be configured with the XP4200. You must have internet and download Epson.com for your printer and follow on screen prompts to configure a program to work together first. Don't plug in cable till told to do so I set up to use the USB printer cable plug on one end and printer plug on other end of the cable. printer has on LCD screen to follow directions, this has to be done before you plug in the computer. Then your computer can be plugged in and download the proper app that runs your system together. This way it's able to use a wider range of systems that are older, like mine, from 2007, still works great together. This system from Epson will not have the book printed or CD for set up. I was told when I bought the unit this is because it can configure to more systems this way.
