“We don't print that much, and every printer we have had uses liquid ink. the ink dries up and clogs and we waste $$$ and can't print when we suddenly need it. isn't there a printer that will print, and copy in black n white WITHOUT using ink?????”

Hello BlueBoi. The XP-4200, along with all Epson printers, use inkjet technology. If the printer sits without usage for some time, you can potentially run into print head related issues. We recommend doing user maintenance such as nozzle check printouts, which use minimal ink and head cleanings to help avoid ink clogging on the printer.
