I am using it with Win7 home, you will need the password you set up with your router to use it wireless. I have mine wired because it would not work with my new DLink router. Worked wireless fine with my old Cisco. I used my old USB printer cable from a HP printer.

Please try again later.yes it will work on your windows 7 and you can buy the usb to usb cable or you can actually use your computer without the USB if your are scanning just go to " SCAN TO COMPUTER" ( WSD) .. it will directly search your computer just make sure your computer is on and uses the same wifi connection. and you will only need your WIFI password to hook it up.
