• Hello. The XP-5200 may have a brief warm-up period when it’s first powered on, after a period of inactivity, or just before printing. During this time, it may perform internal checks, clean the printhead, or run quick maintenance routines. However, because it uses Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, the actual printing process doesn’t require any warming up.
