During this time, it may perform internal checks, clean the printhead, or run quick maintenance routines. However, because it uses Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, the actual printing process doesn’t require any warming up. Unlike traditional thermal inkjet systems, this technology allows the printer to operate more efficiently, using less energy and reducing overall "warm-up" time. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
