Hi DeeDee, You may need to adjust the settings on the The Expression Premium EcoTank ET-7700 scanner. Open Epson Scan2 and try a higher resolution, different color controls and/or less compression when you save the file. There are helpful FAQs and user's guides on the Epson support site.
