It's still great. Just have a sun block curtains and it works well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Picture is just as clear in the daylight, one added advantage is the lack of glare or reflection that you would get from the glass on a TV. Another advantage is there are several modes, natural, cinematic (just like a darker closed off theater screen), and my favorite dynamic (which rivals some of the newer 2160p Tvs that make people look like they are popping of the screen) that are preset and drastically change the screen depending on your viewing preference and your lighting.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is bright enough for a picture in a normally lit room. That being said if you have direct sun on the wall you are projecting it will reduce the brightness of your picture. I use mine during the day with a light on in the room and can see the picture fine. There are two brightness settings one is Eco mode and not as bright. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's actually pretty decent. You will always lose some contrast and brightness in a room with ambient light. You will mostly lose detail in the blacks and dark tones. We own this projector and we were very pleasantly surprised by how good it looked with all the lights on and the blinds open. Just don't expect it to look like an LED flat screen tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We initially thought we would need to close the windows with blackout panels but just closing the blinds is enough. We are able to view the video with good clarity. We didn't really try watching with blinds open but I am sure once your guests are settled in, you can close the blinds stating its for better viewing experience.
