• If you have a receiver and an hdmi cable you can use this with satellite TV.

• I have no idea. We use it for presentations in an art museum and I know nothing about satellite tv. It has an HDMI connect and RCA connects and I believe USB connect as well so I'm guessing if you have any of those it would work.
