Can I use a regular white screen? null

Absolutely. We first started with just the wall, but the texture on the wall made it difficult to watch. Then, we used one of those "portable" screens which are basically glorified white bedsheets. That worked better, but still not great. We finally installed a white projector screen and the difference is incredible. To be honest, I was starting to question the great reviews about picture quality and brightness, but once the screen was installed, I was impressed. Brightness and clarity are fantastic. And it works fine with ambient light as well. A light rejecting screen might be even better, but we're very happy with our white projector screen,
