• There is no guarantee that I am aware of, but if you put in paper without clips or staples attached, it should not jam.

• We ran 11 x 17 sheets through and it was quite nice. Guarantee? That's a hard one. Our papers were curling some so not ideal for scanning, but went thru easily.
