The Escort M1 comes with a 16GB microSD card and has everything needed to operate right out of the box. The dash cam is ready to accept class 10 microSD cards up to 32GB without any formatting. 

If you want to use a microSD card larger than 32GB, please make sure to first format the microSD card in the M1 from the Escort M1 app. We have tested class 10 microSD cards up to 128GB without any issues after the card has been formatted properly within the camera.

There are people using 128GB cards with the M1 with no problems. I don't know if you can use larger cards or not, but up to 128GB cards are being used with no issues

I swapped out the 16GB with a 256GB micr-sd and it formatted fine (fat32) and has been recording fine. I have not recorded enough to actually confirm it will use all 256GB, but it accepted it.

It comes with a card, I think 16gb. Considering that you can directly download the videos to your phone/tablet anyway, you are probably going to get 24+ hours of video on that 16gb card. I would probably guess that a 64gb card should work, but I don't have one around here. This is a question best asked on a dashcam central forum or blackbox my car.

1. No they are incompatible, Escort M1 more than 16 GB can not be set, there are restrictions.
2 About 32 GB of memory above, I did not know.
